Important Device Compatibility Notice
The new Firestick “Plus” and “Select” models, as well as Firesticks running the new Vega OS, are not currently compatible with Mainstream.
For the best performance, please use one of these supported devices:

Firestick 4K Max

Firestick (any previous generation)

Fire TV Cube

Older Fire TV / Fire TV Edition Smart TVs
Preferred Installation Method (Amazon App Store)

Go to the Firestick Home Screen.

Select the Search option.
-
Type Mainstream or Mainstream TV.
-
Select the Mainstream app from the results.
-
Click Download or Get.
-
When installation is complete, open the app and sign in using your Mainstream login.
If the app does not appear due to device compatibility, use the Backup Installation Method below.
Backup Installation Method (Downloader Code)
Step 1: Enable Installation Permissions

From the Home Screen, go to Settings.
-
Select My Fire TV.
-
Select Developer Options.
If Developer Options is not visible:-
Go to About
-
Highlight Fire TV Stick
-
Press the center button 7 times
-
Go back and Developer Options will now be available.

Turn ON:

Apps from Unknown Sources
-
ADB Debugging
-
Step 2: Install the Downloader App
-
Go back to the Home Screen.
-
Select the Search option.
-
Search for Downloader.
-
Select Downloader (orange icon by AFTVnews).

Click Download / Get.
-
Once installed, open Downloader.
-
Allow permissions if prompted.
Step 3: Download and Install Mainstream

In Downloader, click the URL field.
-
Enter this code:

Select Go.

The Mainstream app will download automatically.

Select Install when prompted.
-
After installation, select Open.
Step 4: Sign In or Subscribe

Open the Mainstream app on your Firestick.
-
Sign in using your Mainstream login credentials.
